we're talking flat

I'm trying to use my little new keyboard ... getting more comfortable but got a long way to go to feel up to snuff.

Hours of driving with the above view.... man oh man oh man.... going to Boulder, Colorado EARLY in the morning...

Kinda tired of pickemups and camo and all that stuff...
Little ol lady needed hellp in Walmart this evening. She was looking as though she needed help ... little ol bitty woman hanging on and bent over the buggy with her cane inside.

She wanted a gallon of cider vinegar and the honey that comes in the bear....

I fetched them for her... sigh .... I was helpful... makes y'feel good y'know?

Please dear Universe/God.... I want to die before I get that old and bent and... oh, man...

Good night blog ol buddy ol pal...

  1. Nite, you did your good deed. You get a brownie point for that. Sleep well.

  2. Good morning ;) I slept really well... and when I saw your saying I did a good deed, it kinda hit me weirdly... Haaaa.. What I mean is that it wasn't a good deed -- anyone would have done what I did for the little thing.... she thought I was an employee..... ;)

It was kinda like a salve on an itchy/painful bump. Guess I just needed to do something worthwhile or .... i don't know....

Philosophical this morning... Sitting at McD's about to read the emails and try out my keyboard here in mcD's and so far! so good!

  3. Hi Carolyn, as long as it's the land that's flat and not your tire you're doing fine. Driving on flat land for long period of time can be boring that's when I turn the old radio loud and I sing along if I can.

You did a good deed and you deserve that brownie, never mind the point. Make it a sinful one. JB

    1. I put my Creedence Clearwater CD in! whoa! .... I bounced and boogied all the way ... but I will tell you ... spraying my face with the water in my little fan bottle was a life saver. Miles and miles of nothing and no place to really pull over... just barely off the highway... If I ever go back home HAHAHAAAaa.... I ain't going thatta way again... shee

ohhhhhh brownies.... sigh... I've resisted so much ... those wonderful freshly made cinnamon rolls and sticky bun rolls and danishes... not to mention homemade pies ... man oh man

  4. I saw a lot of roads recently that looked like the one you traveled. Not the most beautiful, but generally easy to drive. Just set it on cruise and take a little nap!

I agree with you about getting old, and I hope I go before I get too bad. There are enough things I can no longer do easily.

    1. I've tried to read your blog as I traveled about as well as several others but I became so frustrated with Siri and that @#$%&@ keyboard! .... I just read mostly... I finally succumbed and am staying in a motel... I got pictures... holy freakin moly... love it love it love it

I set it on cruise but when I found my head nodding.... it was reeeeal close to the center line and a HUGE 18 wheeler was coming down the road... man oh man.... it was a two lane highway all the way with a few passing lanes here and there....

This getting old business is really getting on m'nerves.... I've been working on a reversal... my head's certainly going backwards alrighty but this body.... I itched and itched last last ... what ... the .... hell... is that... here an itch there an itch... maybe I'm getting allergic to baby wipes or something... anyway... motel time and a good shower away from bugs.

really hate bugs in my shower ... campgrounds seem to always have a few.... part of my itching was several bites that I hadn't noticed before... one on a cheek bottom! for crying out loud.... guess they swung behind me during my morning constitutional... rat bastards
