Don't want to turn Homer's lights on in WM parking lot. I drove too much today and am really tired. Even the panhandle of Texas is loooooong ... I'm in Liberal Kansas and am still heading to Boulder.

Interesting drive today and this keybnoard is going to take some getting used to but bo ius it a whole lot better than the tee tiny iPhone keyboard.

ReplyDeleteI have much to do outside in the messy overgrown flower beds and I really can feel my old age even though I don't like to admit it. I'm so greedy for flowers. They give me such joy even when I'm having a crappy day or the sky is falling, their glorious blossoms and colors just cheers me up so to keep them blooming I have to do my little part to keep them happy. Digging and weeding , huffing and puffing.
I didn't know that you could post from the car. Isn't technology just grand...

Good Morning, Julia! ;) so glad to see ya.... I love flowers. I have one long stem silk deep red rose in my bedroom in Homer ... I have it hanging over my seat. Love looking at it. I would have live ones if the water or potting soil wouldn't fall out all over everything... not good.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes... I honestly do not know what I ever did without that iPhone. It serves as a flashlight. I downloaded an App called Mag Light and it serves as a magnifying glass (my old eyes) as well as an extremely efficient flashlight! beats all... plus finding me wherever I am.
I'm sitting in a little coffee house that 'it' found me ... ;)
I love the title of your blog... Of Petals and Wool... and looking at all your hobbies... man oh man... I hope to catch up enough to comment on some blogs ... now that I have my handy dandy little keyboard maybe I can. But, I have to be where there's light. That's a real problem! It has a 30-hour battery before having to be recharged but it does not light up! don't like that.
My favorite flowers are Gladiolas, Irises, Daffodils, and fragrant deep red roses.... but I really haven't met a flower I didn't like. I like the way Geraniums look but they're smell is not very good for me.
Oooooo love Wisteria and Honeysuckle ... like walking in the woods/forest and smelling those guys? man oh man

DeleteI do get rankled sometime though when they think they're supporting our welfare states... I can not beliee that mindset. I have actually talked to a fellow yesterday that believes the south is costing the union as he put it...
