Intruder Alert

Intrusions have a way of being intrusive. Regardless of whether I'm just vegetating or planning or dreaming or actually doing some activity, I don't like intrusions in any of those activities.

Unsolicited thoughts are intrusions. Bees wanting to dance. Computer decides to sleep. iPhone decides to stick. Forgetting to replace Hellman's - tuna fish doesn't taste good without Hellman's. Someone wanting me to do something I don't want to do. Guilt feelings from not doing what someone wants me to do. Saying screw it to the aforementioned guilt feelings. Waiting around for people to make their plans so I can make mine.... I reeeeeeeally hate that intrusion.

ALL of those intrusions are time consuming. Takes away from my feeling worthless time.

I am really getting concerned about my 'oldness' ... The King Blues Festival is this weekend a couple of hours away in Helena on the Mississippi River... ol Mark Twain had been by there. Funky little place. At one time, the mayor released all the dogs in the shelter because the funding for same wasn't being funded. Tax wasn't passed or something like that... Hahaaaa... BIG todoing about this .. probably made national news - forget. This was a few years back.

BUT... the decision not to go was based on my 'knowing' what was going to happen. Hot and crowded with smokers and lots of booze. Now... in my youth? my kinda place. But now? makes me tired. But the lineup is just stellar... love love LOVE that ol kinda blues ...Buddy Guy ... Delbert McClinton ... Keb' Mo' ...
